Hotline
The Foreclosure Prevention Unit provides legal help to homeowners facing foreclosure, including advice and representation in settlement conferences, in negotiations with lenders, and in regular court proceedings.
To get help, call our hotline on any Monday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at 347-592-2182.
If you have fallen behind in your mortgage payments and are worried about foreclosure, call right away. Don't wait until you are already in foreclosure.
Court Clinic
The Foreclosure Prevention Project is a partner in the Foreclosure Prevention Court Clinic for homeowners which takes place on Wednesday evenings from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Fridays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Queens County Civil Court, 89-17 Sutphin Boulevard, Jamaica, NY 11435.
Community Education
The Project also meets with groups of homeowners and organizations to provide information about the foreclosure process, homeowner's rights, and available resources.
To schedule a community education session, call our front desk at 347-592-2200 and ask to speak with someone in the Foreclosure Prevention Project. |
